Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) through its U.S. office and in association with K&L Gates LLP, hosted its 2nd webinar on 1st December, 2017 on 'Update on the Progress made on Intellectual Property Regulations in India'. The objective was to reach out to a select US audience and explain the details of additional progress made under India’s National IPR Policy recommendations. The speakers were Mr. Narendra Sabharwal, Chair, FICCI IPR Committee, Ex-Convener Member of the Think Tank set up by the Indian Government to draft the National IPR Policy and Former Deputy Director General, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Mr. Rajiv Aggarwal, Joint Secretary (in-charge of IPR) for the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India who has been the key person for dealings with WIPO  and bilateral and multilateral negotiations in the field of IPRs, and Mr. George Summerfield a partner at K&L Gates LLP. Who has more than 30 years of experience in patent litigation including matters in district courts, U.S. International Trade Commission and the European Patent Office.
