FICCI in association with the Office of Intellectual Property, Govt. of India organized a Programme on “Intellectual Property Rights Awareness” on 15th September 2017, at North Campus, Delhi University with an aim to inspire creativity and innovation among the students by equipping them with the knowledge of IP as well as to educate them on the various modes of protecting IP and advantages that IPRs provided, in sync with the visions envisaged under the campaigns such as Start-up India and Stand-up India. Dr. Usha Rao, Assistant Controller, IP Office, Govt. of India and Prof. Yogendra Singh, Dean Research, Research Council, Delhi University were present at the Inaugural session of the conference. Subsequent technical sessions included discussions and presentations made by officials from the Indian Patent office, IP professionals and experts from Industry, academia and legal fraternity.
